An ecological building
The conversion of a historical craftsman’s house in Hallwanger Straße 14 into a low-energy house tangibly demonstrates the skills and abilities of KESS GmbH.
The comprehensive ecological concept comprises heat generation with wood pellets, solar energy and hot air from heat recovery, physiologically optimized wall heating systems, the reduction of electric smog, the sustainable use of drinking water up to energy-saving lighting. Apart from the environmentally sustainable use of energy, health at the workplace played a crucial role in the planning.

KESS GmbH's electricity supply has been 100 per cent green electricity for 11 years now (solar energy, hydropower and biomass energy by the company Naturstrom – golden label)

After a complete renovation the craftsman’s house from 1956 has become a top modern low-energy house using 85 per cent less heating energy.
